The 22-year-old, who joined from Flint Town United last year, made his breakthrough towards the end of the 2024-25 campaign, featuring in the final three matches as Shrewsbury finished 19th with 49 points (13W-10D-23L). ## How has Lee adapted to full-time football? Lee admits the biggest adjustment has been the relentless training schedule and high standards. "Training every day is intense," he said. "The pace and expectations are completely different from non-league. Mentally, it’s tough when you’re not playing as much, but this is what I’ve worked for my whole life." The defender came through Stoke City’s academy before spells at Ramsbottom United, Radcliffe, and Stafford Rangers. His move to Shrewsbury came after impressing in a trial match against Harrogate Town in January 2025. ## Why did Lee choose Shrewsbury? Lee praised the club’s welcoming environment and facilities. "When I came to watch the Harrogate game, everyone made me feel at home," he said. "The fan base and setup were a big factor in my decision."
